Re-keying and Recoding of Locks
Locksmiths 2 U can rekey or recode your existing locks instead of replacing the complete lock. We remove the barrel of the lock and physically change the pin combination to suit a different key, disabling the use of old keys. This is much cheaper than replacing a lock entirely.
Keyed alike locks
Basically, when locks are keyed alike it means that all locks in the household have the tumbler or pin combination set alike to enable entry by one key, i.e. any key fits any lock.
